Already looking forward to your important redraft leagues, montioring the ADP as we speak? Me too. Here are a couple of players I like at the current prices… Let me know who you are looking at as a steal at the moment on Twitter using my handle above!
Clyde Edwards-Helaire (3.06)
The fantasy community is quick to overreact after a disappointing season after being selected as the first running back off the board in the 2020 draft on a prolific, fantasy friendly offense. According to The Fantasy Football Calculator , Edwards-Helaire is going in the 3rd round, which is 2 rounds lower than his ADP last year (personally took him myself at the 1.07 just behind Kamara). Why would you want to take another shot at a player who disappointed you last year? For starters, training camp is expected to be in person which will build a strong reputation for Patrick Mahomes. Last year, Damien Williams opted out of the 2020 season due to COVID, leaving Edwards-Helaire, Darryl Williams and Darwin Thompson. Who is there this year? The exact same core. Currently the 18th running back off the board, puts him as a potential steal in the 3rd round similar to how Chris Carson was drafted last year.
CeeDee Lamb (4.11)
Another 2020 rookie that his ADP should stay in the 4th round with massive upside is Lamb. Currently going in the mid to late 4th round Lamb produced 3 top 20 wide receiver performances in his first 5 NFL games, with one of those being a 2 touchdown game (Week 4 against Cleveland). Prior to Dak’s injury, Lamb’s value was untouchable in most leagues as he was setting the league on fire with a great connection with Dak. Since Dak is projected to be healthy at the start of the 2021 season, I believe Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb will be drafted in the same round, leaving one to fall later than another. CeeDee looks to be the real deal, producing 5 top 30 Wide receiver finishes (PPR), in from weeks 5-17 and two of those being top 10 with Ben Dinucci and Andy Dalton playing quarterback on the year.
Brandon Aiyuk (6.03)
Averaging just under 13 points per game, Aiyuk ended up as wide receiver 35 in PPR leagues. 5 spots behind Tee Higgins, Aiyuk is in a great spot here to be a top 20 wide receiver week in and week out in the 6th round. With all signs of the 49ers drafting a rookie quarterback this upcoming draft, there is a chance his ADP falls another round due to the uncertainty at the position. Last year Aiyuk finished as top 20 wide receiver 7 times while only playing 12 games. According to The Fantasy Football Calculator , some wide receivers going around him are Chase Claypool (has to compete with Juju & Diontae Johnson for targets) and Odell Beckham Jr who hasn’t been able to stay on the field. Aiyuk has the opportunity to shine as a top 15 wide receiver and be just as bright as he was last year with while going into his second season in the NFL.
